Our Team
The strength of BagsID lies in our talented team, comprised of seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the aviation industry. Working in a global business we too operate in a global way. Our headquarters are in Amsterdam and supported through our remote offices in the USA and India.
Core to our culture is diversity. Our team is built from 7 different nationalities and spread across three continents. We live and breath the jet fuels now but our team brings best practice and lessons learned from a variety of sectors. This gives us local knowledge of the environment our solutions operate in today but also a diversity to challenge the status quo.
We ensure that our solutions are both practical and impactful. Key members of the team have led international airline baggage handling systems and core airport IT systems. A solution rooted in technology needs world class IT management, development, deployment and AI skills. Our top-tier data scientists are dedicated to continuously refining our AI models, algorithms, and deep learning engines to stay ahead of industry demands.

With over 100 years’ combined experience in creating global markets for innovative start ups’ products and solutions within the aviation industry, the BagsID management team is a diverse group of seasoned professionals, each bringing unique expertise in various aspects of aviation and consulting.
Richard Camman
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Richard is an industry visionary with xtensive experience in ideating and implementing transformational passenger processes. With 20+ years of management experience he knows how to connect people, ideas and ultimately build a team, partnerships and culture motivated towards a common goal. His critical analysis and problem solving were formed through his consulting days including 5 years as a Partner at Accenture.
Eric-Paul van Woerkom
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
EP has a robust track record in overseeing large-scale IT and business projects in finance, marketing and healthcare . From enterprise-wide digital transformation to implementing cloud infrastructures to streamline operations to implementing strategic global projects, he has seen and experienced it all.
Aaron Beeson
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Aaron is our global citizen with tremendous aviation and security experience across the world designing new solutions, implementing change and leading organizations. Previously he led innovation for the worlds’ largest private airport operator and understands the change we are bringing to the industry. Now he leads the day-to-day operations of the company as we define and execute our strategy.
Joost van Amstel
Board Member & Shareholder
Joost has been a successful entrepreneur for the past 30 years building companies in a number of industries including aerospace. Previously, he was a senior manager at PwC focused on M&A.
Mark Veltena
Board Member & Shareholder
Mark has been a successful entrepreneur for the past 20 years after a successful career working as a simulator developer at Fokker Aircraft.
